Mark Cuban Fined for Twitter Comments
Be careful what you write, remember big brother is always watching!
I guess if you’re as rich as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, $25,000 really isn’t that much money to lose. If you’re like me or the rest of America it is, and it begins to make me wonder just how responsible we’re all going to be for the comments we make on Twitter, in our status updates on Facebook, or any of the other micro-blogging services out there.

Are they not allowed to comment on games?

Maybe when you own the team like he does you are held to a higher standard.

The is almost a little scary. We have access to so much information now you really have to be careful about what you post and where. I know his comments were intentional, but someone could just as easily post something that gets taken out of context. I am always careful on Facebook or even in an email to make sure statements don't get taken the wrong way (and even that doesn't works sometimes!). ~Ginger
ReplyDeleteWow! this article is interesting. I know the fine for Mr. Cuban is pocket change, but does this violates his first amendment rights?
